Mr. S.I. Salim is a dynamic executive and the CEO of SHELTER, a grassroots NGO registered with the government of Bangladesh and in Alberta, Canada. Starting his entrepreneurial journey fresh out of Dhaka University without financial backing or experience, he built one of the most successful environmental consultancy companies in Bangladesh. He boasts 35 years of experience managing global businesses and development initiatives. His organization operates across diverse fields, including research, human rights, agriculture, water and sanitation, and women’s empowerment. Furthermore, he serves as a Country Representative for various international firms across Australia, Saudi Arabia, and Finland.
